YSTRADYFODWG ART SOCIETY - We have a demonstration evening at the Abergorki Hall, Treorchy on Monday, March 8, from 7pm to 9pm .

The artist who will be demonstrating her skills will be Sue McDonagh, who hails from Cowbridge and has her paintings hung in galleries all over Britain.  Her style is bright and colourful, one of her favourite subjects to paint in vivid pastels are children playing on the beach.

As a long time friend of our Society, Sue is very much at home with us and at ease with her subject so that her commentary as she paints is very entertaining for us to listen to.

The members of the society learn a lot from these ‘demos’ but a visitor would also find it a very entertaining evening.

The public are welcome and a small charge of £2.00 with tea or coffee and biscuits about half time through the demo makes for an enjoyable evening all round.

We look forward to meeting with you as it gives local people the chance to see what happens in the Art Society’s studio and, who knows, perhaps that little encouragement to join us and see how you get on as an artist in your own right.
