PACT MEETING - The next community policing PACT meeting will be held at Ty Bethania, Herbert Street on Tuesday, October 7 at 6pm. All are welcome to attend.

The current community policing priorities, determined at the last meeting, were;

  • Youth annoyance, Dumfries Street, Treorchy. Over a period of time there have been problems in the street with annoyance and speeding vehicles. The council have been notified in regards to the noise issues. All the above issues will be monitored for the month and operations will be organised
  • Vehicles using the one way system in the wrong direction. Complaints from residents stating that there are issues with the one way system passing New Chapel Street leading to the main road in Treorchy. Cars are using the road in the wrong direction which could lead to an accident.

Members of the public are invited to attend the next PACT meeting and help determine three priorities of concern, for attention over the next coming month by our local community support police officers.
