PUBLIC MEETING - A public meeting will take place at Blaenrhondda Social Club (The Top Club) on Thursday 24th July at 7 pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to disseminate the findings of a questionnaire which Fernhill Rhondda Conservation Group and local community members have undertaken. The questionnaire ascertains the community’s views on the proposed development for the Fernhill Colliery strategic site, as identified within the RCT CBC Local Development Plan and at Cofton’s (the proposed developers and landowners) recent public exhibition.

To date responses from some 300 plus questionnaires have been collated. They indicate a strong consensus of opinion towards a more leisure and tourism orientated development.
