SUMMER FETE

The Friends of Treorchy Primary School held a Summer Fete in the school yard on

Saturday 8th July.

The well-organised event was attended by the emergency services to ensure the day ran smoothly and was enjoyed by all who turned up to support the our local primary school.

Thanks to the efforts of the Friends of Treorchy Primary School Committee, there were all kinds of attractions on offer to entertain the crowds.

As well as a band playing live music for all to enjoy, there was also a bouncy castle to keep the smaller youngsters entertained.
With craft stalls, ice cream and burger vans, face painting, competitions for kids and adults, plus lots of new games for all ages to enjoy, the event had something to offer for everyone who attended.

The karate demonstration by a local group was a great hit with the audience.

The jazz band dance routine was also popular, but unfortunately we have no photos of the troupe.

If anyone has any photos to share with us - do send them to news@treorchy.net

A refreshments table was available for people to stock up on homemade cakes and there was also a car boot sale held in the schoolyard, the same day.

All profits of the day went to Treorchy Primary School for new computer equipment.

Many thanks to all who attended and help support our local primary school.

A big thank you to the Friends of Treorchy Primary for all their hard work in making the day such a success.
