If there's one thing an area such as Treorchy needs it is money.
Now in my experience, which is considerable, the best way to generate coin of the realm is to appeal to the vices we all possess. I will freely admit that I have more vices than most. But then again you see I can afford them.
Therefore using my own preferences I suggest we open several casinos, brothels and opium dens.
They could be easily distributed throughout Treorchy, Cwmparc and Ynyswen; there are many disused chapels that are ready made for conversion. No unnecessary expenditure you see. Clear profit.
Of course as it's my idea I would expect to skim off 40% of each establishments profits and as I would have to supply croupiers, showgirls and other ladies it would only be fair if I claimed another 40% for overheads as ' twere I believe the three communities would benefit enormously from the the remaining 20% of profit generated.
New cast iron street benches would appear over night and a bus shelter could be built in Cwmparc.
I of course will oversee the whole venture from the Bahamas.
