"Too Late"

I have one heart,

please don't break it,

I have much love

it's yours, 

please take it,

my love for you 

will never die,

I've never told you 

and I know not why,

all these years are wasted,

because I was so shy,

you must have seen the sparkle,

that was always in my eye,

I will never have another chance

until we both shall die,

too late, 

too late,

was the loving cry.
