Here's another lovely offering to Poet's Corner from a Rhondda gentleman. 6666666666666666666 "The River"
The sound we hear of babbling brook Its water crystal and clean On its journey ever travelling Stonger now, becomes a stream
The bigger stream now runs its course Through the land it may wander Yet sometimes wild and never still It has no time to ponder
To its mighty end it will flow Rushing forward always free The river now is dark and deep Gone forever to the sea. by "Mr. Mushnick" 55555555555555555555555555 *Treorchy.net sends many thanks to Mr Mushnick - and do keep 'em coming! and if anyone else would like to contribute to our poet's corner then e-mail your unpublished work to news@Treorchy.net **Treorchy.net reserves the right to illustrate any submissions - copyright of all poetry remains with the authors and should not be reproduced in any form without prior permission. |
