Here's our very first offering to Poet's Corner from a local lady who wishes to remain anonymous - we'll call her "Bella". 6666666666666666666 "Stuck
Inside" Inside
her mind at forty five, there’s a little girl of six - who’s had enough of everyone, and doesn’t want to mix. She wants to wander off and play, not wash a pot or pan - and definitely handle not the under-pant of man!
She
need’s to pout…or throw things out…or anything SHE likes, not
iron huge mountains of clothes, and fall all over bikes, or tidy up the toys of kids – all strewn across the floor… or answer phones to hear the moans of people wanting more.
She’d
like to paint… or dance, …or …“faint”, or anything SHE chooses… Not
fight an all-consuming war with chocolate – (which she loses). But
she’s stuck inside a forty-five year body - that’s gone lazy. So
she'll flop in a heap to have a good weep, while her hormones drive her
crazy! by
