Here's a first offering to Poet's Corner from a Treorchy lady, sharing with us her very first attempt at writing poetry. (Dawn's brother wrote our earlier featured poem "The Castle".)

"O Heavenly Father"

O Heavenly Father full of
Grace, I long to seek thou
lovely face, and serve thee
with my innermost being to
have faith in you although
not seeing.

To glorify your name each day
in all I do and all I say.
O Heavenly Father let me be
pure and holy, just like thee,
that one day I'll meet you
face to face to receive my
wonderful crown of grace,
and there my Sovereign Lord
I'll be with you for all
eternity.
