"No Charge"

I love the summer, the bright blue skies

Wearing glasses to shade my eyes,

Soft warm sunshine to brighten the day

Long summer nights so children can play.

Walking, looking, listening for sounds

Laughter and happiness all around. 

I love the scent of flowers on the breeze

The wind gently shaking the leaves on the trees,

Branches reaching up for the sky

Landing places for birds as they fly,

Soft white clouds floating high

As they change their shape while drifting by.

I love ladybirds, butterflies, barking dogs,

Dragonflies, bees, croaking frogs,

Spiders sitting resting on logs.

Petals on flowers closing tight

Mother Nature saying "goodnight".

I love the golden sun rising the following morn

Making me glad that I was born,

Making me happy that I can see

These beautiful things God gives us free.
