Here's a second offering to Poet's Corner from a gentleman in Llwynypia, Rhondda. 6666666666666666666 "Night Walker" He scours the streets, Hills and alleys in the hours of darkness - Looking for fresh prey. I have seen him at witching hour, Peeking from behind trees.
Stay off the avenues, beware Of the moon. You won’t see Him coming – just feel the steel In your back.
In the garden - creeping In the milky shadows. You think you see a shape - The washing line sways; are They cats eyes you see?
Keep the reins tight on Your mind – don’t let it Run away.
He has been at my window At the dead of night - a Tap, tap, tapping…
