"My Dreams"

I dreamt I had some thrilling rides

all day in Oakwood Park,

and even saw the fireworks

in Oakland after dark.

I dreamt I went to Ponty Park

then had a lovely treat

I called into McDonalds

for my favourite things to eat.

 I dreamt I went to Porthcawl Beach

and had a donkey ride

then had great fun in Splashland

coming down the waterslide.

I dreamt that I could stay in bed

when I could hear the rain.

then I went to see a festival

in Cardiff, on the train.

I dreamt that I could spend all day

In Treorchy’s park and pool

And now these dreams have all come true

Hooray, there is no school.
