Here's another offering to Poet's Corner from a young lady of Cwmparc.

"My Brother"

He loves his bike, but he’s accident-prone,

When he’s in, he’s stuck to the phone.

He’s fun to be with but sometimes a pain,

It really doesn’t matter, he’s always the same.

He has lots of friends most of them wild,

I wouldn’t actually say any of them are mild.

He likes cars, he thinks they’re really fast,

He runs after them as they go past.

He’s a really good friend, he’s always there.

Especially when someone’s in despair.

He can get on my nerves but hey, he’s a boy,

Of course he loves playing with his favourite toy.

He loves his friends, especially the girls.

He really likes the ones with blonde hair and curls.

It doesn’t matter what happens, he’s still my brother,

Even though he really annoys my mother.
