Here's a very poignant first offering to Poet's Corner from a Tonypandy lady. 6666666666666666666 "Give us
this day" So many lives
day by day carried on
like a shadow in the night
they are suddenly gone.
No-one knew why and to blame - but whom when destruction of a building becomes such a large tomb. As the stones kept falling the tears would not subside then the world asked the question Why have so many died? It became a world-wide sorrow of families shattered and for a moment, my friend, nothing else mattered. Then slowly but surely anger replaced our sadness who could be responsible for ALL this madness? September the Eleventh will stay with us forever but united we will stand and, we will avenge this terror. So weep no more,
my friend the terror shall soon flee, then we can all stand with hand on heart and once more our Countries will be free.
