Here's an offering to Poet's Corner from a young Treorchy man who attends Ysgol Gyfun y Cymmer.

"Dylan"

I have a little Yorkie dog
Dylan is his name
I can always tell
when he's ready for a game.
Tho' he's only very small
you should see him catch a ball
he hates dog food he's very picky
he'd rather have a chocolate biccy.
He'll look at me with big brown eyes
and wags his little tail
but it's a different story
when the postman brings the mail.
He'll woof and grr and bear his teeth
at strangers when they call
I wish he'd get into his head
he isn't ten feet tall.
He loves it when I get his lead
"Come on Dylan, Walkie"
We are the very best of friends
me and my little Yorkie.
