Here's another offering to Poet's Corner from a local lady. 6666666666666666666 "A
Precious Gift" In
December, in a stable, In
a manger, there he lay, Tiny
Jesus came from heaven, Sent
to wash our sins away. God
his father saw Earth’s turmoil, Sent
his son to lead the way, Hoping
that his righteous journey Would
lead us all to heaven one day. Brilliant
star up in the night sky Guided
kings to God’s own heir, On
their knees they knelt before him As
he safely slumbered there. Since
that time we mark that happening Sharing
gifts both great and small, The
precious gift that needs no wrapping ‘Is
Love’, God’s greatest
gift of all..... by Anna Brown. *Treorchy.net sends thanks again to Anna - do keep 'em coming! and if anyone else would like to contribute to our poet's corner then e-mail your unpublished work to news@Treorchy.net **Treorchy.net reserves the right to illustrate any submissions - copyright of all poetry remains with the authors and should not be reproduced in any form without prior permission. |
