Here's another offering to Poet's Corner from a Cwmparc gentleman. 6666666666666666666 "Requistat In Pace Ultima" ( Ode To Hammer) As
I was walking out one day I
came across a place called Bray. A
quiet spot of films and glamour It
used to be The House of Hammer. By
night and day and day and night Its
object was to give a fright. The
dead that walked were often seen Relaxing
on the studio green. Werewolves,
vampires and assorted terrors Were
all employed by James Carreras. The
likes of Cushing, Reed and Lee All
worked there - not infrequently. Its
reign was short but oh so sweet A
golden time on The
films were great, their style inclusive Strange
for a firm once called Exclusive.
