Youth Centre - Football
The Treorchy Youth Centre’s Under 16 Football team participated in the Rhondda Cynon Taff Football Shield 2008 tournament held at Maritime Astroturf on June 14, 2008.
This is the first time they have entered and played three games.
They drew in the first two matches and won 1-0 in their last game and came second overall in their age group.
Well done to the boys and also to their coach Matthew Hellard.

Well, done to the Football team of Treorchy Youth Centre who participated in the Rhondda Cynon Taff football competition, you too did us proud in representing the Youth Centre.
Thank you to Matthew Hellard who coached the group and Lynda Roberts for Helping with the Transport.
The football group then went on a football coaching course at Nantymoel Boys and Girls Club, thanks to funding from the Community Chest, where they picked up news skills. Good Luck Boys.
