Treorchy Comprehensive School Band
The Treorchy Comprehensive School Band has enjoyed 49 years under the guidance and tutorship of its much-loved and respected director Mr Ieuan Morgan MBE of Tynybedw Street, Treorchy, who retired last year.
Miss Debbie Hosking of Llewellyn Street, Pentre assumed responsibility from September 2002. Debbie is a music teacher at the school and a former pupil and school band member.

Treorchy Comprehensive School Band performed a selection of carols in Treorchy market and outside The Lion Hotel on Thursday 19th December and again in Ystrad on December 20th 2002 (please note the year stamped on the photos are wrong!)
During 2003 Treorchy Comprehensive School Band celebrates it's 50th anniversary with a variety of events. The band has a remarkable history of achievements to celebrate, whilst looking to the future they remain worthy ambassadors for the school & community.
