Rhondda Leader reporter Dave Edwards has
published his first book, which centres on his trials and tribulations
with his six-year-old son.
Dave, who is aged 60, has been keeping a weekly diary of life with his six-year-old son in a column he writes in the Leader. He said: "Becoming a dad at the age of 53 did turn my life around quite a lot. "When I was a kid, I wore daps and played blow football but now it is all about state-of-the-art trainers and PlayStations. "Coming home from work to face a six-year-old standing in the doorway, holding a football and ready to go down the park, can be quite an ordeal but I am getting used to it.
