  • 11 September 1899 copy of will of Ann Davies aged 79, widow of David Davies, ironwork manager: died at 44, Caerau Rd, Newport, Gwent. Informant M. J. Tanner. Copy made 5 September 1919.

These are permanent loans of primary source material, the property of Evan and Ruth Jones of Llandrindod Wells, Powys. 

Evan’s father, John [“Jack”] B. Jones was the oldest and longest serving solicitor in Wales, 

practising for sixty years until very shortly before his death at the age of eighty-five.
