  • Property 1,2,3 Cross St, Senghennydd, 19 Foundry Place, 50 Pontypridd Rd, 14 River Terrace, shares in Rio Tinto Zinc 

  • also contains sheaf of papers relating to the same business including leaseholds, a will of an Elizabeth Davies and an inventory and valuation report of the same properties.

The papers have been placed with the Glamorgan Record Office, The Glamorgan Building, King Edward VII Avenue, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NE

These are permanent loans of primary source material, the property of Evan and Ruth Jones of Llandrindod Wells, Powys. 

Evan’s father, John [“Jack”] B. Jones was the oldest and longest serving solicitor in Wales, 

practising for sixty years until very shortly before his death at the age of eighty-five.
