I have recently discovered several documents and letters referring to the death of Gunner D J Richards on the 21st of March 1918.

He was part of the 86th Brigade - Royal Field Artillery and fell "in France".

His family Mr G J Richards lived at 136 Dumfries Street Treherbert.

If anyone knows of the existence of members of the family who may be interested in these records, please contact me at my e-mail.

Thank you & good luck with the website.

Hi,

We knew Rev Chris Reaney some years ago and wondered if he was still the vicar in Treorchy as we have lost his address.

He and his wife Bev used to stay at my farmhouse B & B nr Okehampton many years ago. I just wondered if he still lived in Treorchy.

Actually we had many welsh visitors... five years ago we retired to Dawlish so still live in Devon.

with regards

REYNOLDS

Hi,

I would like to know how I find the records for Treorchy births/deaths and marriages?

I am looking specifically for the Reynolds family?

I am trying to find out information about John Rossiter, who was killed on HMS Glorious in June 1940, aged 21. He was the son of Charles and Elizabeth Rossiter, of Treherbert.

I would welcome any information about him or his family.
